Mr Michael Bowen B Juris, LLB, BComm (Chairman)

 

Mr Bowen is a partner of DLA Piper Australia and is a trusted advisor to numerous public and private companies and for whom he provides strategic commercial investment advice. He practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), equity capital raisings and general corporate and commercial law.

 

Mr Bowen has advised on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, re-constructions, risk management, due diligence and general commercial, corporate and intellectual property law. His clients operate in a range of sectors, including property, resources, technology, contracting and construction.

 

Mr Bowen advises both bidders and targets in various hostile and friendly takeovers and advises on schemes of arrangements for reconstructions and mergers. He has extensive experience in negotiating the terms of joint venture arrangements for major projects.

 

Mr Bowen is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia, is a Certified Practising Accountant and also a Director of IMF Bentham Limited

 

Mr Mark Clements (Secretary)

 

Mark has 20 years’ experience in corporate accounting and public company administration. He is Company Secretary for a number of diversified ASX listed companies. He is currently Executive Chairman of MOD Resources Limited and a Non-Executive Director of MSM Corporation International Limited. Mr Clements previously worked for an international accounting firm. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

 

Ms Patti Chong B. Juris LLB

 

Ms Chong is a celebrated lawyer with outstanding legal knowledge gained across a range of roles including Senior State Prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and General Counsel with the Corruption and Crime Commission. Recently she has established her own private law practice in Perth. She is committed to being fair and balanced in her judgments. Ms Chong is a member of the Institute of Company Directors.

 

Mr Ryan Lee

 

Mr Lee is an investment manager with over 20 years experience in funds management. He has been managing funds for sophisticated investors diversified across Property, Listed Shares and Private Equity. He has sat on boards of investee companies and been active in the management of these companies. He currently heads up Meritus Capital Pty Ltd, a boutique investment company.

 

Ms Sarah D’Onofrio

 

Ms D’Onofrio has worked in the stockbroking industry for over 18 years as an equities adviser specialising in professional portfolio management. She manages investment portfolios for self-managed superannuation funds, high net worth individuals, institutions and foundations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Investment Management from FINSIA and is a practitioner member of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia. She is also a member of the Telethon Kids Institute Development Council.
